  • Catherine Moore

    DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Moore has been working at VCA Turco Animal Hospital since 1996. Dr Moore attended URI School of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for 6 years before returning back to school at Cornell School of Veterinary Medicine. Her medical interests include: Endocrinology, Dermatology, and Reproduction. She resides locally with her husband and 3 children. Outside of work, they enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, and raising their 3 Russell Terriers: Dottie, Delilah, and Taryn (and maybe more soon!) Why did Dr Moore decide on a career in veterinary medicine: "It was my dream since I was 8 years old to be a Veterinarian, and I feel lucky to have made it come true!"

  • Amy Gilbert-Laliberte

    DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr Amy Gilbert-Laliberte has been with Turco Animal Hospital since May 1999, after she attended Michigan State University. Dr Gilbert chose her career path because of her love of animals. She also has a special interest in holistic health and nutrition, and has a vast clientele because of her expertise in these areas. Dr Gilbert has a very active life outside work with her family. She enjoys horseback riding, playing bass guitar, gardening, cooking, hiking, water skiing and even snowboarding! Pictures of her domestic short hair cat, Buttercup, can be seen our Cat Room at Turco Animal Hospital. Dr Gilbert also has a Hanoverian horse, Berliner, as well as a Welsh Pony, Applejacks. If you ask Dr Gilbert why she chose her career, she will tell you: "I chose a career in veterinary medicine because I love animals." And it definitely shows.
